Welcome to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Basics!

In this short module you will learn how to design or adapt your course based on Universal Design for Learning principles. This means creating content that is not only well designed, but it is also functional and comprehensible for students regardless of physical disability, learning disability, and/or mode of accessing your course.

The primary focus of this course is designing online content. If you are interested in learning tips for creating a more inclusive design in the face-to-face delivery of your lesson content, we highly recommend that you view the Lynda.com course titled Introduction and History of Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
